Hillsboro BookFest

A literary festival called the Hillsboro BookFest 2009 will take place in Hillsboro, NM, on Saturday, March 14, from 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. at the Hillsboro Community Center on Elenora Street. Twelve local authors and poets will give selected readings as well as sell and offer book signings. Booksellers will offer reasonably priced, hard-to-find, often-rare publications on a wide range of subjects. Several authors will give slide presentations highlighting key points in their publications.

This will be an excellent opportunity to meet highly talented literary people and obtain signed copies of their work.

Admission is free.
Light refreshments will be available during the event.
Local cafes and art galleries in Hillsboro will be open during the day.
